Disappearing North Pole

Maybe we can just pretend that Santa Clause doesn't exist at all and stop telling that to our kids after year 2030....

Imagine how many businesses will be disappointed by that.

Why girls should be housing agents instead of boys...

Location, location, location...

Is it so? If you are doing a retail outlet or a shop or a business.. Yeah, perhaps it's true..

But for normal people, there is a sentimental value behind it. They need to feel their house.

Even if you are renting a unit, you need to feel home.

So, in this sense, the condition of the houses, the surrounding of the houses, the interior ambiance plays an important role.

Especially if you have a group of girls looking for a place to call home.. In a foreign land, for the next one or two years.

It's simple. We are human. We are not logical. Most of the time, we do things based on our feelings. Even though some of the decisions we made may affect us financially or put us in disadvantage.

Lets revolt! For the sake of Mother Earth!

Both cartoons are from naturalnews.com. Credit to creator Mike Adams. Click on the cartoons to read the original passages.

Referring to the original passages, the only way we could prevent our imminent demise (...a polite way of saying "To save our asses") in this world is to revolt! Revolution is what we need! A total make over!

We need a total start over. The human race need a total start over. We need to change the way we eat, the way we live, the way we are using resources.

In other words.. We need a shift in paradigm.

Boycott the organizations that treat our world badly. Boycott food or daily products that come from unoriginal productions. Boycott politicians that are treating the world as a toy.

Boycott our own survival system.

This requires immense bravery, brain, and a whole lot of work. Since the people on top are not able to do anything because it is so stuck. We as citizens must demand a change. We must stir up the grass root effects ever more now.

Start right now. Join a 'Green' club or organization. Understand more about how badly in shape our world is. Understand more about what you could do to save Mother Nature and save lives. Understand more about what new measures could be taken to harvest new energy. Understand how the old-fashioned, bureaucratic, conventional, f*cked-up oil regime can be pulled down or affected by grass root effects.

Start right now.

What is this?

Sorry if you can't see what is in the red circle. It's actually $42.80 for a foreigner membership fee for the National Library of Singapore.

If you can see the black circles, they indicate NIL for both PRs and Singaporeans.

It was not like that one year before. Foreigners just need to pay $20 plus for a basic membership.

What is this? It affects all of us in 4 ways:

  1. The Singaporeans and PRs are happy and look at it as a welfare from the government because their memberships are free for life time.
  2. This makes the non-PRs, like me, wants to become PR more and more.
  3. It's a smart way for the NLB to 'divert' their cost; instead of just asking everyone to sign up for the same plans. They use the '100%' more payment from the foreigners to support the Singaporeans and the PRs.
  4. *I was quite pissed when I found out that my card is expiring soon and I need to pay twice as much amount of money. Although I will get a premium membership in that sense (I mean, comon.. All foreigners will get it either they want it or not..), but I seriously don't need to borrow 8 books for just 3 weeks!!! Try extending the 3 weeks to 6 weeks.. Then I might give you a thumb's up.

The green agenda

This is a give and take situation. We are losing the very thing that defines our existence -- Mother Earth (Nature). You might not know how serious it is without anyone telling you.. Well, let me tell you something then. It actually begins with what we eat, where we live and how we utilize our resources.

It's a sad truth that we must admit. It's about time we do something about it. Something serious. Something big that will strike an effect.

What's with that look?

This same feeling goes over and over again? What's with you all in the bus? In the train? In the office?

What's with that look?

Are you guys waiting to watch the favorite drama of yours? Are you guys hungry? Are you guys thinking of your family?

Are you waiting for the day to end? Just like any other day?

Are you waiting for your paycheck?

All hail OBAMA!!!

Obama won the Democratic candidacy. I wish him all the best for his run up with McCain.

A guy with an 'Arc Reactor' heartpiece

Just watched 'Iron Man'. Yeah, that one was probably the last show in town.

The film establishes that the first miniature reactor could generate 3 gigajoule/s, while the second improved reactor could generate four times that. 3 GJ/s equates to 3 GW of power (see orders of magnitude), or approximately four million horsepower. This is more than is produced in the world's largest nuclear reactor and is more than fifteen times greater than the power of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier.

Talking about some renewable energy huh? With devices like that... there will be no war, no pollution, no global crisis.. The world will be at peace.

Screens!

Screens. Screens. Screens.

There are screens everywhere. You see them in work. You see them in school. You stare at them when you get home. You see them on the streets. You use them for entertainment. You are looking at them almost 90% of your time.

And they are getting better, cheaper and bigger of course.

When are we going to move to our next revolution --- telepathy?
